The LA Travel show was an eye-opening event, which was filled with a variety of everything. It has travel information booths, seminars, mountain climbing, and cultural performance and entertainment. It was really great to see and learn so many cool places around the world. Indeed, there were also many exclusive travel deals from the booths.
Taiwan
If I have to recommend you where to travel, I certainly will suggest you look into Taiwan, where I came from originally. Taiwan Tourism Bureau was also one of the major sponsors of this event. It had a big booth and always flooded with people. Fortunately, my son received a free crafted Monkey lantern from Taiwan booth before it was almost run out. There was also a photo-taking opportunity with the Taiwan Oh!Bear.
Shen Yun
 | Another booth hosted by the Shen Yun Performing Arts was perfect for this travel expo since it virtually gives you a journey of going through 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture. No kidding! This performance features over 100 performers, a live orchestra with original music score, detailed handmade costumes, and dazzling animated backdrops. I've enjoyed and watched it every year when they come back to Los Angeles, and it is breath-taking every time. Please check out their show times and locations near you since they travel globally.  |
Performance and entertainment
